Freight Policy - Effective March 1, 2020

DISTRIBUTOR FREIGHT POLICY

Standard Freight Policy for Equipment:
MK Diamond will ship freight prepaid all orders over $5250 for equipment. For Orders less than $5250, MK Diamond will ship equipment freight prepaid as long as four blades are purchased of a similar size to the saw's blade guard capacity for each saw ordered. All orders must be shipped to the customer's place of business.

Drop Ship Orders:
MK Diamond will drop ship any order (blades & equipment) to a location other than the customer place of business and will prepay and add all associated charges to the invoice (these include handling charge, lift gate and residential delivery and signature required). Charges may apply for deliveries held at a freight terminal for customer pick up. Please check with customer service for all Resale and Use Tax charges which might be incurred when drop shipping an order; these charges will be added to the Sales Acknowledgement and Invoice if applicable.

Diamond Blades:
MK Diamond will prepay freight on all diamond blades orders of at least $500.

Parts, Accessories and Miscellaneous Items:
Freight is prepaid and added to the invoice. Minimum order value is $45.

General Freight Terms and Exceptions:
Orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska or outside the continental United States will be charged for all freight and handling fees. Charges for residential delivery, lift gate, signature required, etc. are extra, which are billed separately as a handling fee. When the customer requests expedited transportation, MK will prepay and add this expedited fee to the invoice.

Freight for large concrete saws (MK-20, MK-3000 & MK-4000 series), MK-5000 series block saws, Barranca Diamond equipment and Canoga mixers is prepaid and added to the invoice, irrespective of order size..

All risk, loss or damage shall be upon the Distributor after delivery to the carrier. We reserve the right to ship in the most economical way. Any claims for packing shortages must be made within 30 days. Claims for shipping damage or loss must be made with the carrier.
